Why did you start with WingTsun?

I started WingTsun because to me it showed a mental superiority and sophistication in a physical altercation.

Why are you still doing WingTsun?

Not a day goes by that I don’t think about WingTsun and the art of efficient movement. To stop WingTsun would be like being separated from the tree of life.

What was your standout WT experience?

Every enthusiasm and joy of my students are experiences of a special kind and confirm my work. Through gratitude and appreciation of both sides, these experiences are equal to nothing.

What changed for you when you received the 1st HG or 5th MG?

Since I was 11 years old, I have been learning martial arts and combat sports. During this time I acquired a lot of certificates and diplomas. Perhaps this was initially subconsciously a quest for recognition and attention. However, today after almost 30 years of martial arts, a path from the “outside to the inside” shows … doing has become more important to me than achieving. Thus I have come closer to the philosophy of KungFu – daily, lifelong training.
