Why did you start with WingTsun?

Because it was the most convincing way to fight that I had encountered up to that point.

Why are you still doing WingTsun?

Because, thanks to Grandmaster Kernspecht, nothing has changed in the sovereignty and in the constant development of WT his convincing manner has become better and better. I do sports every day and I am willing to call up binomial qualities. But not in the WT. Here I find it absolutely great to be able to win over the characteristics of a martial art and not those of a sport.

What was your standout WT experience?

The first time I had private lessons with Grandmaster Kernspecht in Kiel.

What changed for you when you received the 1st HG or 5th MG?

It was not a difference in the sense of a difference between the 1st HG, the 5th MG or now the 6th MG. It was the anticipation of what was to come. I always wanted to be champion, so the 1st HG could only be the beginning. And the anticipation has paid off; because my teachers, Grandmaster Kernspecht and Grandmaster Thomas Schrön, show me in every training that it is not the end yet. The anticipation continues.
