WingTsun means to me to follow my path of my grandmasters and never give up and constantly work on myself.

Why did you start with WingTsun?

I did Judo as a teenager and at that time I was looking for something new that was tailored to me. After I had tried a few things, a friend took me to WingTsun lessons. I was fascinated by the fast and direct movements and content of the program. This has remained so until today!

Why are you still doing WingTsun?

WingTsun has become the center of my life. I decided 26 years ago to open my own school. Thus WingTsun has become a profession for me, but also a vocation.
 It is always nice to bring the fascination of the system to students and to accompany them on their way!

What was your standout WT experience?

In almost 30 years, there have been many outstanding events that will never be forgotten. For me, it is always the most beautiful thing when I can go to my SiFu and be a student again myself!

What changed for you when you received the 1st HG or 5th MG?

In 1990 I received the 1st HG. That was the completion of the student programs for me. It was a hurdle I wanted to overcome.
 In 2005, I passed my 5th MG exam. This had been unimaginable to me at first and a distinction I wanted to fill.
