Why did you start with WingTsun?

A self-defense situation in which I was afraid I would not get out of it unscathed prompted me to take up a martial art. I came to Wing Tsun through boxing.

Why did you start with WingTsun?

Wing Tsun has increased significantly in effectiveness in recent years due to the regular innovative thrusts of GM Kernspecht and the diversity in the execution of our grandmasters. The scientific approach to this martial art, makes it possible to make our martial art understandable to the smallest detail and thus explainable.

What was your standout WT experience?

The appointment of my mentor DaiSifu Thomas Schrön as Grandmaster 9th MOA at the International Course in Hockenheim, was a special event for me.

What changed for you when you received the 1st HG or 5th MG?

Each certificate or graduation, which I received through my SiFu, was a special highlight for me, because each HG examination represents a graduation-specific challenge to the aspirant to the higher degree. This is true for the partner forms, the BiuDjie as well as for learning the long pole form. For this reason, the one-week examination for the 1st HG at Langenzell Castle has remained in my memory just as much as the appointment to the 5th MG in Munich.
