Why did you start with WingTsun?

WingTsun, what is it? That was the question that occupied me 32 years ago when I first heard the word WingTsun. Convincing demonstrations of WingTsun instructors left deep impressions on the spectator level. The peak of motivation was quickly reached and I wanted to experience WingTsun first hand. I had no intention of founding a WingTsun school. It resulted in such a way. That it came to this, there can be only one explanation: Probably at that time I succeeded in convincingly explaining the advantages of WingTsun to my circle of acquaintances. The unintentional presentation, which was based on pure enthusiasm, had consequences. The number of people interested in WingTsun increased and the necessity to open a WingTsun school was given.

Why are you still doing WingTsun?

Meeting people is what makes WingTsun study worth living.
 Anyone who tells you they are perfect and have reached the end is not. WingTsun has a habit of slapping you in the face when you least expect it. Since there is no perfection, there is nothing left but the constant effort to do better next time.

What was your standout WT experience?

Passing the examination for the 5th MG, the acquisition of higher graduations of my children and students and the appointment of numerous students to Sifu.

What changed for you when you received the 1st HG or 5th MG?

You know those instructions that say “the pieces should fit together effortlessly, no force is required”?

The smooth transition from fixed, preformed movements to free actions in motion is what makes the difference between the 1st HG and the 5th MG.
